Project IDHM: Engineering a Sustainable Energy Future for Bihar
IDHM PVT LTD is establishing a state-of-the-art 10 TPD Compressed Bio Gas (CBG) plant in Bihar. This project is a strategic response to India's growing energy demands and a direct catalyst for socio-economic development, built upon Bihar's rich agricultural strengths.

The Science of Waste-to-Wealth: Anaerobic Digestion
Our core technology, Anaerobic Digestion, is a testament to the power of nature. It is a natural biological process where microorganisms break down organic materials—like agricultural residue and cattle dung—in an oxygen-free environment.
This process yields two valuable products: a methane-rich biogas, which we upgrade into high-purity CBG, and a nutrient-dense digestate, which becomes our Fermented Organic Manure (FOM). By harnessing and optimizing this elegant, natural cycle, we transform potential waste into clean energy and sustainable agricultural inputs.

A Multi-Feedstock Strategy for a Resilient Bihar
Our operational strength is rooted in a diversified, hyper-local feedstock strategy. By utilizing the unique agricultural landscape of Bihar, we ensure year-round plant stability while creating multiple, simultaneous streams of value for the local community and environment.
Our proactive approach involves partnering with local farmers to cultivate Napier Grass as a dedicated energy crop. We provide them with a guaranteed buy-back agreement and a stable, drought-resistant source of secondary income, fostering agricultural diversification and economic resilience.
By procuring and utilizing paddy straw, we provide a direct solution to the widespread environmental problem of crop stubble burning. This initiative significantly reduces air pollution (smog), improves public health, and converts a problematic waste stream into a valuable resource.
Integrating cattle dung into our feedstock mix connects our plant directly to the local ecosystem. This practice not only provides a consistent energy source but also promotes better rural sanitation and more effective waste management practices within the community.
Guaranteed Offtake: The SATAT Scheme Advantage
Our project's financial viability is secured through its alignment with the Government of India's visionary SATAT (Sustainable Alternative Towards Affordable Transportation) scheme. Under this forward-thinking policy, IDHM will supply the entire volume of its produced CBG to India's leading Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs).
This framework establishes a long-term, guaranteed revenue stream, making the project a financially robust and secure investment in India's clean energy future.
